Over the river and through the woods...

What an adventure the past month has been!  We began out winter vacation in upstate New York, where we got snowed in for a few days.  We got to make snow angels...

As well as snowmen...but the snow was soft, so we made snow volcanoes - then pretended to be Godzilla and  crush them!

and all of that fun was just in upstate NY!

After we finally got plowed out of the house, Matt and I decided to try our luck in New York City.  The entire city was covered in slush.














but we trucked threw it and saw family and friends.  Next time, I will make a bigger effort to take pics of friends more than snow -Promise!

After the wonderful NY trip, Matt and I caught a flight into Dallas where we met up with our good friend Constantine.  We drove 3 hours to Shreveport and got the party started!

 More pics on Facebook if you are interested.  After enjoying 2 story high bonfires, champagne and extremely loud and dangerous fireworks, we decided to enjoy a nice boat ride the next day.

It was a little chilly, but the day was sunny and beautiful!
